Rosenhof Art Factory’s ambition is to create modern textile collections for homes where the bold and playful mix and match. Brindfors dressed it up in its now-iconic bottle, hiring artists to design ads that, within a few years, became de rigeur on the walls of college dorm rooms across America. “It’s clear that you feel pride when traveling and see the bottles wherever you go,” says Hans Brindfors, who as a promising young art director at Carlsson & Broman created the bottle in the late 1970s before becoming a world-renowned design guru. The problem is only that the now-web has constraints with regards to our surfaces and data is not yet connected to other data. But when that technology is available, the problem with Lowe Brindfors design and execution is not that they didin’t think web, but it is that they didn’t think big enough.
